Music

It is no secret to ANY of my friends (especially you Renee) in Darwin, that I am overly (and scarily) obsessed with music. For some reason I find it necessary to find out the most trivial things about all this weird music that I hate, and even more trivial things about the music that I love. Now, in Darwin, I don't think that there is anyone (that I know of anyway) that is the same as me in this sense. But here, it seems different. I can actually sit down, and have a perfectly normal conversation with the incredibly sexy Courtney, including quotes from the ever wonderful Jade Puget. It's so amazing. And she is equally obsessed with SILVERCHAIR! This is the coolest thing! I mean, she knows EVERYTHING about them, like me. Sorry, I am just atsazed and amounded (love you Renee) that there is someone else out there that can appreciate great music the way I can. I am happy that I left the dents in Renees brain before I left Darwin... and she too will soon have the ability to do the same! And then she shall pass it on. It's the REAL circle of life people.

I've come to the conclusion that the world sucks. I mean, this whole terrorism thing can suck my little toe! I hate this whole thing on the tv about the Jakarta bombing. And all the shit that went on about September 11 and the Bali bombings. I mean, sure, it sucks major ass that they happened, but putting it all over the TV for months and months on end just shits me. It just makes me angry that people in this world can be so cruel to one another. That school seige was a perfect example of this. Children dude. That's REALLY not cool. If you wanna make a point... protest. They all get put on the news if you get a big enough bunch of people together. Your cause will get televised. And nobody dies. Most of the time. I will leave it to the great Davey Havok to make my point "From what I've seen, I hate humanity!".

Exams start tomorrow. Not for me, but for a lot of people. My first exam is on Tuesday. I am SO going to fail them all. But the good thing is, it doesnt matter if I do. The board of educatio nhas to take it into consideration that I moved from the NT to here, and we have been studying different things etc etc etc and basically, if I go and TRY and to the exams, I will have 'completed year 11'. So yay me! I can go there and sleep for the two hours. But the sucky thing is, you arent allowed to leave early. Stupid. You only have to wait 30 mins in Darwin. Oh how I miss the lazy NT.
